Partnership with Projective Group: AI employees for the financial industry
scoreprise.AI and Projective Group are now working together. Projective Group is one of the largest change specialists for financial services in Europe. The aim of the partnership is to move AI in financial institutions from the pilot phase into regulated operations. The first joint use case is AI-supported OKR management.
The gap in question
In the financial industry, there is no shortage of AI ambition. What is missing are the transitions into operations.
The Kyndryl Readiness Report paints a picture that many institutions will recognise:
The reasons for this rarely lie in the technology. They lie in the organisation that is supposed to carry the technology: legacy core systems, data in silos, unclear responsibilities for machine-generated results, open questions about traceability and supervisory obligations. A pilot can be set up in a few weeks. An AI-supported process that survives an internal audit is a different task.
This shifts the question. It is no longer about selecting a tool, but about a change to the operating model. And it is precisely at this point that two competencies meet that are usually purchased separately in practice: professional and organisational transformation experience on the one side, technical implementation capability on the other.
The aim of the collaboration
The partnership between scoreprise.AI and Projective Group starts exactly at this divide. Both companies bring together what financial institutions previously had to source from two directions.
Concretely, we are pursuing three aims:
- Shorten the path from decision to operation. Concept, technical implementation and organisational anchoring come from a coordinated collaboration, not from three projects with three providers and three timelines.
- Choose AI use cases that take the regulatory framework into account from the start. The technically most spectacular use case does not win, but the one that can be reviewed, documented and accounted for.
- Build a transferable model. What works in the first use case should be transferable to further areas, instead of remaining an isolated solution within the institution.
Who Projective Group is
Projective Group was founded in Belgium in 2006 and has since developed into one of the largest change specialists for the financial services industry in Europe. More than 1,100 experts work for the company today, at locations in Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland and Germany. Five practice areas form the backbone: Data, Payments, Risk & Compliance, Transformation and Talent.
The company's ambition is to guide financial institutions through change so that the result is durable change and not a concept left in a drawer. To this end, Projective Group combines classic consulting with its own talent model, through which AI engineers and data scientists are placed into client projects in a targeted way.
In the area of AI, Projective Group has built its own AI Lab. Internal and client-side projects take shape there, including AI-supported KYC processes, multi-agent approaches for OKR performance management and AI-supported transformation tools. This is complemented by the Projective Academy, a training curriculum that translates project experience into practical learning formats.
With the Projective Institute and the Journal of Financial Services, the company also operates its own publication formats for the financial industry.
The contacts
Two contacts shape the collaboration on the Projective Group side.
Ralf Temporale is responsible for the German business as Country Lead and Managing Director. He combines experience in strategy execution, regulatory change and digital transformation in the financial services environment and has visibly driven the expansion of German activities, including the opening of a new Frankfurt location.
Anton Glatz is, as project manager, deeply involved in topics around OKR implementation and the use of AI in consulting projects. In a dedicated article he describes how the role of his team in a large OKR project shifted from a pure coaching function towards a train-the-trainer approach, in order to make scaling to many teams and objectives manageable. For him, AI is not an add-on but a lever to make consulting work repeatable.
What scoreprise.AI contributes
scoreprise.AI is the first agency for AI employees. Behind the term stands a deliberate distinction: assistance systems respond to requests, AI employees work independently on a defined task.
In practice this means: every AI employee has a name, a role, a professional owner within the client's organisation and a connection to the systems in which the work actually takes place, from CRM and ERP to BI and document storage. Operations run on European servers and in compliance with the GDPR.
Into the partnership, scoreprise.AI brings two things that are hard to accelerate: the technical depth for implementation and the speed with which a coordinated use case becomes a working state. Experience with regulated environments is present. For a wealth management context, scoreprise.AI built an AI employee that accesses the data of a financial data provider directly via an interface, designed to be GDPR-compliant and MiFID II-compliant.
Why consulting and implementation belong together
From an enterprise perspective, the core of this partnership is a question of risk.
Anyone introducing AI in a financial institution is not buying a function but an operational capability. What matters is not whether a model can solve a task, but whether it is clear who reviews the results, how errors are detected, which controls apply, how decisions can be reconstructed afterwards and which role in the organisational structure bears responsibility.
Consulting firms answer these questions very well, but rarely implement themselves. Technology providers implement, but rarely answer the questions at the depth a supervisory authority expects. Between these two positions arises the gap in which AI initiatives usually get stuck.
The target picture
AI employees as a lasting part of the operating model. With defined roles, with professional responsibility on the client side, with measurable metrics and with a governance that fits the institution's regulatory environment. People remain responsible at the decisive points. AI employees take on the recurring work in between.
The first use case: AI-supported OKR management
As a joint entry point, both companies chose OKR management. The reason is pragmatic: both sides bring experience there, the use case is business-critical but not client-critical, and it can be assessed clearly.
OKR programmes rarely fail because of the methodology. They fail at scaling. With each additional team, each additional objective and each additional cycle, the coordination effort grows faster than the gain in insight. The effort lies not in the substantive work, but in the repetition.
This is precisely where AI employees come in. Not as yet another dashboard that prepares data, but as a role in the process:
- Create drafts for objectives and key results.
- Track progress across cycles.
- Make deviations visible early.
- Feed insights from one quarter back into the planning of the next.
The decision about goals and priorities remains with the leadership.
From this use case, the model can be transferred to further areas, for example to Payments or Risk & Compliance. Everywhere Projective Group is deeply embedded in the professional regulatory framework and scoreprise.AI can contribute the implementation with AI employees.
Joint formats
Both companies will also bring their perspectives together publicly. Planned are, among others:
- Articles and posts on LinkedIn: both viewpoints on AI in the financial environment, from transformation consulting and from technical implementation.
- Whitepapers: joint studies on topics relevant to financial institutions using AI.
- Webinars: digital formats for interested parties from the financial industry.
- In-person formats: joint events for decision-makers.
Both companies coordinate topics, dates and focus areas on an ongoing basis. Everything is announced through the channels of scoreprise.AI and Projective Group.
