Working Student Software Engineering (m/f/d)

You will work on a defined part of an AI specialist role that is in live operation with a client and not in a demo. This is not a side project that ends up in a folder after your semester. You will present your progress yourself in the weekly review.

What the role involves

Build a source connection or an evaluation in the dashboard on your own, agreed and signed off like any other task in the team.
Write test cases for existing roles and find regressions before they show up at the client.
Prepare data sets and merge them with the client's naming through a translation table.
Build small internal tools that take recurring manual work off the team.
Present your progress in the weekly review and explain your decisions.

What you bring

Ongoing studies in computer science, business informatics, data science or a related subject, from the third semester onwards.
Python at a level that goes beyond the practice exercise, along with confident use of Git.
A first contact with LLM applications, from your studies, from a project or out of curiosity.
Availability over at least two semesters, because otherwise the onboarding costs more than it returns.
Confident German, English for documentation and sources.
