Intelligence Consultant Market & Competitive (m/f/d)
Together with clients from industry and the Mittelstand, you build AI specialist roles for market and competitive intelligence: from the scoping workshop, through the definition of sources, metrics and approval logic, to live operation. You translate what a practice area wants to know into what an AI specialist role delivers.
What the role involves
- Lead scoping workshops with practice areas: define an AI specialist role's remit, source types, cadence, output format and approval logic.
- Maintain feature catalogues for market and competitive intelligence and check them against the client's requirements.
- Support the build: align the client's naming conventions, metrics and internal systems with the engineering team.
- In live operation, review results with the client, translate feedback into further development and state the limits.
- Help shape proposals and service descriptions on the technical side, together with Sales.
What you bring
- Several years of experience in market intelligence, competitive intelligence, strategy consulting or a comparable role in a corporate or Mittelstand environment.
- Confidence with figures: market sizes, price series, source assessment, plausibility checks.
- The ability to think critically, to back up assumptions and to defend a recommendation, even against resistance.
- An interest in working with AI specialist roles as colleagues and learning what can be delegated.
- German at negotiation level, English fluent. Willingness to travel for workshops at the client's site.
